- Plans for a 3-tower mixed-use project at 3333 Biscayne Boulevard have been unveiled in a presentation with city planners.
Three towers are proposed:
East Residential Tower (41 stories, 473 feet).
North Residential Tower (40 stories, 462 feet)
West Office Tower (12 stories, 212 feet).
The combined project is planned to include:
635 dwelling units (including nine townhouses),
156,989 square feet of office space, 19,180 square feet of ground-floor retail space
1,210 parking spaces, in an 8-level garage.
Stantec is listed as the architect. Beitel Group has previously been announced as the developer.
- Plans for a 75-story tower at 1428 Brickell Avenue have been submitted to the Urban Development Review Board. According to recently submitted plans, 1428 Brickell is planned to include: 189 housing units related amenities
503 parking spaces on six garage levels (clad in artistic limestone).
The tower’s height is planned to reach 861 feet.
Ytech is the developer, and Arquitectonica is the architects’ firm.
- Miami voters gave the green light to a 3-tower project known as Miami Riverbridge. Here are 10 benefits of the project, according to developers:
– Miami Riverbridge will include 50,000 square feet of new green space.
– A newly created 480-foot-long section of the Miami Riverwalk will be open and accessible to the public, creating a riverfront amenity for downtown residents and a destination for all.
– Hyatt and Gencom will make a $25 million contribution to affordable housing in the city of Miami, helping to alleviate one of the community’s greatest challenges.
– 1500 new apartments will serve local residents, meeting the growing demand for housing in Miami.
– Miami Riverbridge, over the term of the lease, will contribute more than $1.5 billion in city taxes, fees and ground rent that can be invested in infrastructure improvements, resiliency measures and community improvements throughout the city.
– Reimagining the Hyatt Regency Miami site will create better access in and out of Miami’s urban core by relieving traffic and congestion on surrounding streets and improving the pedestrian experience.
– Construction of the project will create 4,500 jobs, while the number of permanent jobs after construction will more than double from 350 to approximately 900.
– Completely redesigned Hyatt Regency Miami hotel with 615 rooms and 264 branded serviced apartments that will keep pace with Miami’s thriving tourism market.
– 190,000 square feet of Class A meeting and event space will further position Miami to attract major conferences and events from around the world. Miami Riverbridge will be financed entirely with private dollars, without a single penny of taxpayer funds.
